If a government can not protect those it governs, or worse - actively puts those it governs in danger, does the government have legitimacy?
If we had a Merkel she would have been murdered years ago, and justifiably. Rabin went for much, much less.

I believe (and hope) that very soon german people will start to reclaim the streets and demand end to current immigration politics. This will result in huge unrest and violence between ethnicities. But no collapse
