Any work experience? I moved from a small suburb in the middle of nowhere in Tampa and found a job pretty quick thanks to some prior work I did. I got a roomate for the first few years and once I got a better job I started living on my own. You can always visit if you ever have the money and time to see it for yourself too. I will say this though, don't try to greet random people in big cities. My family did this when they first came to visit me and thought everyone was being rude and giving them the cold shoulder. In a place with 8+ million people most people aren't going to say hi unless they know you.
