former North Westerner here, unless you're talking about some really hicky backwaters of eastern Oregon there's no such thing as a 'northwestern accent', I've lived in Oregon and Washington and now in California and all the people I've talked to who weren't Hispanic sound the same to me. Some of the wannabe rednecks (imagine that, people who are so desperate for an identity they'll latch onto white trash just to feel included) in Washington affected fake southern accents though
