Why won't the Mexicans turn to fascism to save them from their cartel problems?

Mussolini's fascist party supressed the Italian Mafia
>>
America would just revive them like they did with mafia
>>
>>53065817
Because then they would have problem of murricans dropping shitton of freedom upon them, after which probably putting one of those cartels in the lead of the country.
>>
just legalise it and they will be gone
>>
>>53065817
Mexican cartel problems are a direct result of the american appetite for drugs. Until americans stop giving billions in cash and guns to the cartels in exchange for their product, Mexico is powerless.

>>
>>53065854
We had Mafia before he came to power.

We were able to successfully castrate them in the 80s and 90s. Meanwhile, they still have major power in Sicily.
>>
Why doesn't the whole world just become National Socialist? Jews wouldn't allow it.

This isn't shitposting. He's right. I think USA consumes like 40% of the cocaine in the world.

The war on drugs will never end as long as USA stops being such a faggot junkie country, as long as corruption is rampant in Mexico, and as long as there's so much money involved. Everyone benefits most with drugs being illegal.
>>
dont be fools. Drug lords are uneducated dirty hobos, the mexican governmet can get rod of them in 1 day, but the mexican goverment loves the million dollars that uncle sam give us to fight drug issue

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mexico%27s_37_most-wanted_drug_lords
>>
>>53065957
You don't get it, there was no mafia after fascism, but then the american army brought the mafia bosses like Lucky Luciano for the invasion of Sicily because they knew the place and left them there
>>
>>53065991
I am happy you agree but am offended you assumed because of my flag that I would be shitposting. It's a complex feel

He didn't rebuild the Mafia from the nothing with his bare hands. There were surviving elements despite Mussolini, which would have come back after Facism ended regardless of American mafiosos.

It's literally true, though. Rich narcos prey on poor degenerates with their cheap and shit quality drugs, pay off the corrupt Mexican government to ensure survival, and then pathetic, spineless Mexicans like you blame us (while also crying when we try to secure the border) for getting preyed on.

This is the only problem I have with America and Americans in general, actually. I love their country and all, but it seems that they are incapable of accepting their government does wrong sometimes, they simply can't take responsibility for anything because WE WUZ NAZI DESTROYERS N SHIT. If you ask them about the Mexican-American war, the blame is all on us and not in their manifest destiny, if you ask them about Pinochet, the blame is all on Chile and not them, if you ask them about the drug war, nope, it has nothing to do with the cartels, the list goes on. For some reason they NEED to be the good guys 100% of the times or else they lose it.

>>
>>53066191
Or you could use your overwhelming financial and political power to properly address the drug problem in your country. Mexico is a developing nation, ripe for exploitation. There are shit people in every country, it's just that Mexico's lack of development means that they are unable to effectively deal with them. America is a fucking terrible neighbour.
>>
>>53066168
yep, this is outdated
>>
>>53066257
Exactly, the whole MUH FREEDOMS AMERICA FUCK YEAH AMERICA #1 attitude is annoying. I love USA, I live near the border and go there often but I probably wouldn't ever live there, and I tell them that americans go "OMG WHY NOT, USA IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN DA WORLD, MEXIcO HAS A LOT OF VIOLENCE OMG!" They never believe me when I tell them I walk all the time at all hours and have never been mugged and my house has never been mugged.

Also their dumbass measuring system is annoying. The rest of the world uses metric system, but not USA cuz "WE WUZ ASTRONAUTS N SHIT"

America is the one who needs to legalize drugs.

The only one wanting to liberalize the drug laws in America is Sanders. And sadly he ain't gonna win.

By the way. It isn't a simple problem OP, although some argue that the solution could be quite simple: legalizing all the drugs. However there are several factors involved in this issue as it currently stands:

>A very poor country, which allows anyone and everyone to become corrupt
>Druglords that have enough power to do as they please
>Government officials that are linked to or somehow allow the druglords to do what they will
>The US buying the druglords' goods, while at the same time providing them with weapons
>A society lacking cohesion, both morally and ideologically

All these factors are causing the issues, unfortunately aside from legalizing the drugs I have no idea what could help fix the problem

No, it's not.

If drugs become legal, stoners and douchebags from everywhere will show at our's doors willing to get wasted in our streets. Littering problems, rape and other things they experience in Ibiza, southern Asia and others will multiply to a greater power in Bolivia, Perú and Colombia.
>>
>>53066456
AK47's are not american made, friend.

>Or you could use your overwhelming financial and political power to properly address the drug problem in your country.

We're not an island. We have a massive border with a chain of third-world countries that make up one of the largest drug-producing regions in the world.

>Mexico is a developing nation,
Because they're corrupt as sin.

>ripe for exploitation.
The same people who are exploiting them are exploiting us. The problem is, they reside in a sovereign country that can't manage them, so they spill over and prey on us.

If we invaded them, you'd call us imperialist fascists. "Supporting" a government that is infiltrated and corrupted by these narcos doesn't work very well, either.

Mexicans seem to want the solution to be every single poor American drug user to choose to stop consuming illegal drugs, rather than the more practical solution of reducing the parasites and their influence by force.
>>
>>53066464
>If drugs become legal, stoners and douchebags from everywhere will show at our's doors willing to get wasted in our streets
Which they already do. Consumption doesn't stop a single bit if you make drugs illegal, it's the fucking same. Didn't you learned a thing when America made alcohol illegal? What happened? Mafias everywhere.

Making them legal and giving proper taxes (therefore increasing their price, like with cigars) might even have more chances of stopping consumption (a tiny bit) than outright banning them. And either way, I would rather have stoners than fucking beheadings in my street.

You are that one ultra-conservative Colombian that swears NAFTA is perfect, aren't you?

Foreign consumption within the Netherlands boosted up and with it, prostitution also grow. After that, the Netherlands regulated the thing.

Santos is eager to legalize the thing. He believes in surrender to drug kingpins and legalization of their business. Imagine if suddenly Joaquín Guzman becomes an important entrepeneur.
