A few weeks ago I saw a documentary about Corn Island, which was hilarious. The Dutch guy was just there on vacation interviewing random people. And literally no one had a father. The mothers didn't even expect fathers to stick around. One 14 year old girl was pregnant from a 60 year old taxi driver who she met a few weeks ago while taking the taxi. Some black guy said he had a kid, but when asked about it he couldn't remember his name.
But for everyone on the Island it was like the most normal thing in the world. And no one truly gave a fuck.
