Stuff related to IT, similarly to other developing markets, are dubbed as the "next big thing"; however many employers insist on paying shitty wages (~US$ 300,00/month) while requiring insane qualification, considering that you would probably waste more than 20x for the degrees.
On the other hand, more traditional areas such as law, medicine and architecture are still somehow popular among the youth because of the perceived potential of a good career.
Many people are also aiming to be workers in the public sector because of the exceptionally good wages compared to similar positions in the private sector, job security is also a great factor. This doesn't apply to every position though, teachers (especially the junior ones) apparently are paid like shit in here.
