It was trendy, a few years ago, to have "theme parties". I went to one, where the theme was literally "white t-shirt, blue jeans". All the men and women there wore white t-shirts and blue jeans.
I don't understand it. It doesn't make the party better at all when the theme is so boring. Also, if you don't adhere to the dress code, people act like you're ruining the atmosphere.
Some theme parties are pretty good though. If you go to a "pirate party" or something like that, girls will wear Halloween costumes, which are usually pretty slutty. I even went to an underwear party once.
I don't understand theme parties that don't give girls an excuse to dress more provocatively. There's no point.
