They have a decent flag (way better than the average "DUR DUR THREE STRIPES" bullshit so many European/African countries fall into).
They have an interesting history even if their present day isn't the best, they used to own a big chunk of the world, including Mexico. Honestly, all of Europe is declining and will never reach the cultural relevance it once had, but maybe that's not important. I heard Spain have some of the most beautiful historical Catholic churches from the middle ages and very olden narrow streets, with "town squares" where families will gather and enjoy food together. Something about that seems very beautiful and I would like to visit it, like stepping into another time. In USA we don't see stuff like that.
I love frilly dress dancing (cant think of the word) and never minded the bull-antics. Americans eat cows all the time but we get mad when Spanish people will fight a bull? Seems hypocritical afaict. Its ok to keep cows knee-deep in shit and crowded in barns, only to slaughter them and turn them into burgers, but if you let the cows fight back then its cruelty? Uh. Ok.
