Bugs LOVE warmth....however yes soon there will be "global warming" and yes that means those countries will go from the coldest to the hottest (and interestingly enough the hot countries will turn into the coldest...some people call global warming "global weirding" instead because its not just getting warmer or colder its a reversal of everything we know). They exist, but theres surprisingly less of them even on Vasyugan swamp (which is the biggest in the world) than 500km south from it in Khakassiya.
The only troublesome insect I can think of are ticks. Their bites are annoying and they can carry a nasty potentially lethal virus. Almost everyone here receives prevention treatment and every park area is treated with toxines every spring.
