Obviously there are words which resemble modern German words and you can guess a bit of the meaning but anyone who said that he "understood" this language by knowledge of German alone would be lying.

I'm from Nort Frsia and the town from where he Angles set sail to England is only 10 km to the south. I know some Frisian and Danish and bot Low Saxon and German are my moher tounge, but Tat language seems completey foreign to me. There so many sounds that don't exist in any of those languages. I would say, the speaker is not the best for your video.
