Everyday, I go to sleep hoping that when I wake up there will be a new story about how Assad and the Kurds have come to a proper agreement. Suddenly, SAA and YPG are on the same side and the fuck IS and the other rebels into oblivion. Meanwhile, the US suddenly realizes they're on the same side as Assad, Hezbollah, Iran, and Russia, but they're too committed to bombing IS to stop. Over the course of many weeks and months working together to destroy IS, all of the players slowly learn cooperation with each other, even with moments of struggling bringing them closer together. Eventually, IS is destroyed and at last the coalition comes to end, but all have memories of when they worked together for the greater good. Even if the US continues its anti Russia or Iran rhetoric, the men of the military will have known the other side fought beside them against the real danger, the real threat. From such small things, I hope great change could come.
