Both to be honest.
>>
>>52880118
This.
The problem can only be solved if
A. Both work together
And
B. They have a strategy that actually works.
>>
>>52879842
It's the fault of both. USA CIA, DEA interfere with and arm them, USA banks launder their money. Mexican politicians are USA's bitch.
American's fault for being ignorant fucks.
Mexican's fault for being pussy fucks that select fucks that rape their ass after every election.

During the Korean war(which you can find in fucking Wikipedia) the American government asked Mexico to produce opium for its soldiers

Mexico did, the war ended and the remaining supplies fucked things up

Just read about it, dude

If we had taken more of it, many thousands of heads could still be connected to their bodies.

>"Gunwalking", or "letting guns walk", was a tactic of the Arizona Field Office of the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which ran a series of sting operations[2][3] between 2006[4] and 2011[2][5] in the Tucson and Phoenix area where the ATF "purposely allowed licensed firearms dealers to sell weapons to illegal straw buyers, hoping to track the guns to Mexican drug cartel leaders and arrest them."

Cartels wouldn't be an issue if there were enough Mexicans with principles in positions of power. Instead, they sell out and do nothing.

You're an illiterate chimp if you think corruption in the US even comes close to the level of corruption in Mexico. Grow the fuck up and read a book.

The US/Mexican drug relationship is the US's fault. Americans buy the drugs that the Mexican drug cartels smuggle into America. This makes the cartels rich and powerful enough to influence domestic Mexican politics. You can't expect the Mexican government or Mexican people to stop this, since the drug cartels control their government. It is the fault of the American people, who greedily gobble up drugs; and the American government, that fails to stop the flow of drugs into the US.

The First Opium War (1839–1842) and the Second Opium War (1856–1860) were Qing Dynasty China's fault. Chinese people bought the drugs that the British corporate state-monopolies smuggle into China. This made the British corporate state-monopolies rich and powerful enough to influence domestic British politics. You can't have expected the British Empire or British people to stop this, since the corporate state-monopolies control their government. It was the fault of the Chinese people, who greedily gobbled up drugs; and the Qing Dynasty government, that failed to stop the flow of drugs into China.

cartels and the government have a tight relationship
>>
>>52883330
And that's about it, which, unfortunately, is the only thing they need to succeed.

>>52883306
As many Mexicans believe.

The government has nothing to gain from them, they can lose everything if they did had that kind of relationship with them, they are just fucking incompetent or they are bigger thieves.

But tinfoil-hattery without proofs is more powerful than reason, anon.

The black market and politics intersect at various points on a worldwide scale, no one controls either both exist in conjunction with one another and on occasion may, and do, cooperate.

What do you think about the military taking over law enforcement duties in cartel ridden places?
>>
>>52904868
I don't know, mate, while I think the military are more difficult to corrupt than the regular police, and that they are better trained, looked at what happened with the fucking Zetas.

Also, I don't know if it's really necessary to give up the little freedom you still have in order for the military to """work""" like they need to fight the cartels (although I think it's necessary). And ultimately, regardless of my opinion, it is a misinformed and biased on this particular topic, so don't listen to my ramblings.
