why are russians so depressed? its because the climate?
They know no matter what they do they will never be as great as Putin
>>52858752
Because they're lazy and want welfare.
Yes. Alaskans have the same problem. For certain parts of the year you basically can't leave home and the sun doesn't come out.

No. Canada is also very cold but people are so happy. Turkey is one of the most depressive 10 countries due to being much sunnier than Russia.

Most live in parts Russia that that are like lower Canada's climate. Only cold and shorter days during the winter.

well she is literally
trashed
It's because they have to live under Putin's regime
What you think is "depression" is actually melancholy, depression is when you can't get up your bed anymore and just think about death. Being moody up north isn't depression, it's normal state of mind.

Great. The more Russians die the better.
>>52858752
That + living standards which don't make up for it.
Poland is, in this understanding, Russia lite. I feel for the rus bros. Their presence in high level gaming, which I used to participate in a long time ago, is hardly a coincidence. It's almost like evolution pushing some species towards things.
Also without melancholy you WILL get depressed here. That's why only locals can enjoy living in countries like these. There's no need to pretend to be super happy but you can embrace the darkness and live with it.

Oops, I meant:
The more BROWN eyed Russians die the better.

Climate, architecture, lack of social mobility, take your pick.

They don't trust one another. It makes for a miserable life.

Do lots of people in Finland take medication for depression? I've thought about getting on some anxiety/ depression meds but I don't want to be a drug zombie. I need to do stuff to make myself less miserable but I can barely get myself out of the bed each day or make myself eat. I wanna' die and drink vodka in hell.

how would anyone know
when you master chess and tetris everything else seems so irrelevant
>>52859409
>Do lots of people in Finland take medication for depression
Yes. We are almost like murricans.
>>52859227
>architecture
that's sorta inaccurate. Ofcourse some smaller cities look like shit due to everything being of mediocre quality, but that's not really 'architecture', Russia has some decent architecture.

It's pretty easy to get antidepressants. Like if you go to doctor and talk about depression or sleep problems it's more likely you get medication rather than proper therapy because the queues to therapists are so long and Finns love to take meds to everything. Even grade school students take them now more and more.
We're still not the champions, could be that lot of people find it embarrassment to go talking about their mental problems to a doctor
>>52859502
Guess it's common in lots of places. Just curious if there's social taboo there and people resit taking it.
>>52859529
I know you can get it easily but I'm not sure if I want to take it. There's legal documents here for gun licenses and such where you have to indicate if you're on depression medication so it feels like a stain on my records.
I'm surprised grade school kids take it in Finland. Maybe it happens here too.
They are subhumans

I think their 'recent' history means that having a pessimistic outlook is the most rational way to think. The climate doesn't help.
