The people who have a personal armory are the least concern, especially in this country, they just want to play with their toys all day and not hurt anyone. Most people out here in the country areas have at least 2 or 3 guns, normally a .22, a shotgun for goose season and some other rifle. Usually an air rifle for toads. Then maybe 3 or 4 other rifles for hunting other shit or just for having fun out in the bush. You also need 2 shotguns usually, because steelshot fucks your barrels up so a lot of people had to buy a second shotgun when those laws came in.
It's the fuckers with guns in their sock draws and shit, who also get mixed up in other criminal rubbish like drugs and what not that you have to worry about, and there's not a lot more you can do about them.
