It's not really bad. Basically the batter is put into a can and sealed and then cooked inside of the can. It's popular in Massachusetts but most people make it at home vs getting store bought.

It's dark and has molasses in it and it's sweet(ish). Awesome with butter in the morning if you warm it up.

my own are more simple, pic related is my breakfast standard set up, the lettuce is a less frequent component, but a slice of cheese and ham is a must, the tomatoes i slice before and season with lemon-pepper and salt and let them drip the liquid out a little to make it less messy to handle
