That depends on what you mean by margin of confidence, what's your criteria? How much we actually know about the world is vastly exaggerated by media personalities, very few things have actually been explained, even how cells are alive is a huge mystery, how neurons function or even why objects fall are all just unknowns.
You need to first realise that the human brain has limits, and so does science and the belief that it doesn't have limits is inherently unscientific, thus blind belief in science is also unscientific by definition.

For example, norse people unironically believed that, behind some lakes in Sweden, there lived giants.
I don't get why fedoras are so militant against Christianity for its "anti-science" aspect, yet embrace paganism...it makes no sense and it's completely hypocritical. Christianity is way, way WAYYY more scientifically minded than any Pagan religion. Pagan religions all have the same problems:
1) They're culture specific. For example, Norse paganism only applies to Nordic people (all of the locations, people, cultural references, etc. are all Nordic in nature), so it would make no sense at all for someone from Madagascar for example to believe in it. And in Turko-Mongol paganism (Tengrism), the only people who happen to be born shamans "coincidentally" are all Turko-Mongols.
2) They have profoundly wrong ideas about the physical world. As I mentionned earlier, Nordic pagans had completely wrong ideas about several geographic places in Scandinavia, and they thought thunder was the sound of Thor's horse, etc. Basically, paganism pretty much always implies a fairly large amount of superstition. Tengrism isn't as bad as Norse paganism for this, but even they have highly animistic beliefs, and they think people get "possessed" by evil spirits, and singing songs make those evil spirits go away. Christianity at least seeks superstition beyond the mortal world. It takes a much more philosophical approach to the supernatural and the metaphysical.
Really, I completely fail to see how anyone can demonize Christianity, but embrace paganism, unless it's just a "muh ancestral cultural values" thing in which case it's not a religion, but just some ceremonies and symbols. But if that's the case, don't pretend you're actually embracing the religion, because that's just hypocritical as fuck.
