your country's most popular "beer" is fosters, even we don't drink that shit.
the yanks have a better beer industry than you ever will.
>>52709079
Oh god Fosters. That brings back memories.
>>52709079
Actually it's carling.
All beer tastes like african piss water. The only reason to drink it is to get wasted so why are beerfags so self righteous about their piss water?
>>52709079
Post some of your beer Aussie bro
>muh beerz
we need to stop
>>52709273
Spoken like a 21 year old who just started drinking alcohol.
>>52709254
>visit the UK
>practically every pub has fosters on tap
>fosters dominates all the off licences and supermarket shelves
you couldn't even invent your own generic piss so you're literally paying for our's
how can a country be this cùcked?
>>52709273
by that logic, the only reason to drink alcohol at all is to get wasted so why not just drink ethanol instead ?
>>52709292
>>52709273
To each his own then. If your can't appreciate the taste and flavors, no one is forcing you to drink or post ITT.
>>52709286
This is one of the most popular micro brands going at the moment. Refreshing and fruity pale ale, pares well with almost anything. Good entry level Aussie brew.
>>52709353
This has to be one of my favourite Pilsners of all time, brewed a stones throw away from my house actually
>>52709296
>im such an enlightened sophisticated beer drinker guys. if only you had drank as much piss water as me in your time, you'd realize some of it taste slightly better than piss!
anyone else love two hearted?
>drinking beer
>not real ale
>muh microbrews
>>52709296
Who the hell starts drinking at 21?
Pic related to thread. Not the best beer around, but eh. Greeks are shit at brewing.
>>52709273
How is puberty treating you?
I have tasted beers that taste LITERALLY like grapefruit juice, coffee, dark chocolate or apples. The thing is, those beers only had hops, malts, yeast and water in them.
>>52709919
If those beers are so good why don't corporations with hundreds of millions of dollars buy and mass produce them? If they were so good investing a ton of money into the production would make them money in the end and put their competitors far behind them in sales.
And don't give me the "well the beermakers don't want to sell their recipe becuz muh honorable beer making code" anyone would sell themselves out for enough money.
>>52709079
americas most popular beer is coors light or some shit, what's your point?
sometimes I like having a german speaking region
>>52710131
wtf. Think before you post, boy. "Those" beers are usually much more expensive to produce, making the shelf price higher.
The average drinker is a working class pleb like you, who just want a refreshing drink to get wasted on. Price and ABV are most important then comes taste.
They just cater their pisswasser to the market, which is fine. There is a beer for every occasion. I'd rather have a Carlsberg than an imperial stout after a sauna, for example.
Economically, good craft beers fit the best in small breweries. Believe me, I'm a microbrewer myself ;)
>>52710131
>If those beers are so good why don't corporations with hundreds of millions of dollars buy and mass produce them?
They do.
>If they were so good investing a ton of money into the production would make them money in the end and put their competitors far behind them in sales.
They do.
>And don't give me the "well the beermakers don't want to sell their recipe becuz muh honorable beer making code" anyone would sell themselves out for enough money.
Only an imbecile would sell a successful recipe rather than turning it into an internationally famous and profitable brand, honestly.
>Americans
Sometimes I wonder if they just shitpost, or are really unironically and unintentionally retarded.
The only people allowed to post in this thread are Czechs and Germans.
>>52710131
Because you still guzzle your pisswater down, and that is cheaper to produce than clean water

>>52710968
You don't have to like beer.. But you're just a retard (or American) if you wonder out loud why corporations don't make millions with it..
>>52710992
the American was criticizing those who like beer only because it's made by a small, indipendent brewery, as if this made it better than the industrially produced beer.
Only hipsters think so.
>>52710915
>>52711101
>the American was criticizing those who like beer only because it's made by a small, indipendent brewery, as if this made it better than the industrially produced beer.
If that's what he meant, he should have specified to be honest.. He seemed to be on about beer in general.

I wonder the same thing, my dutch friend. Sometimes about brits too, when they get really mad again.
>>52711235
>Sometimes about brits too, when they get really mad again.
I'm pretty sure Brits just really love being fucked by authoritarian powers and politically correct media.
I saw a woman drinking a can of Fosters at the bus stop the other week.
We have muh microbrews too though
This is masterpiece is definitely my favorite microbrew
>>52711697
What's on the rest of the label?
>>52711697
>No preservatives or additives
>Only fresh natural ingredients
Is special? To my knowledge pretty much all European mass produced beers just contain barly, hops, yeast and water..
microbreweriers = microdicks
>>52710907
>Only an imbecile would sell a successful recipe rather than turning it into an internationally famous and profitable brand, honestly.
>only an imbecile would sell their enterprise to a larger company to make massive profits they would only themselves be able to make after years and years of hard work and potentially failing even then
There's a reason small companies and startups are constantly being sold to larger ones, you know right?
>>52711697
It's like it somehow became self aware
Ignore the shitposters and post your favorite beer. I just bought a six pack of pic related. It's so fucking good for a stout.
>>52712046
>There's a reason small companies and startups are constantly being sold to larger ones, you know right?
Yes. Because people are naturally fearful and insecure.. It can be appealing to play it safe. But it's not how you become really succesful, and if you already know you have a great product you'll likely gain more success by keeping it. You'll never become Heineken, Apple or Microsoft if you sell your product to Heineken, Apple or Microsoft. It's that simple.
>>52712142
Got any Dutch in you?
>>52712203
Possibly. I'm a generic North American euromutt. Why do you ask?
>>52712232
No reason.

>>52712249
rude desu fambam
I drink Yuengling and Heineken mainly, sometimes Strongbow
How pleb am I?
>>52712142
>espresso milk stout
Why though? Does it really add to the beer-experience as well as the coffee experience? It's it a regular stout and a regular espresso nicer to have, but seperately?
>>52711697
Is this the Punk IPA?
>>52712386
>How pleb am I?
Heineken is my go-to regular beer, and I've had some Yuengling in the US. I don't like it that much.. Most US beer has a very overpowering hop taste, and Yuengling went for that too iirc (it's been a few years).
>>52712386
>>52712437
I drank a lot of this stuff in NY state btw.. I believe it was fairly local to the area, and pretty inexpensive. I liked it better than most US beer.. Not light, and not too hoppy. Nice uncomplicated beer.
>>52712387
I was skeptical at first, but the strong coffee notes pair really well with a generic milk stout. It also helps that I really like coffee.
>>52712437
Never been a big fan of hoppy beer desu. Unfortunately IPAs have been all the rage with Pacific Northwest breweries for the past few years.
>>52712540
>Unfortunately IPAs have been all the rage with Pacific Northwest breweries for the past few years.
But even IPAs don't have to be that hoppy, right? I had this IPA made by a local hipster brewery, which is a student startup or something.. It tastes quite nice, almost fruity, and the bitterness of the hop is more on the background.
>pic
>>52712623
That sounds like a beer I'd like to try. I've been turned off of IPAs because it seems all the breweries here seem to be in a competition to make the most bitter fucking beer possible.
>>52712686
>to make the most bitter fucking beer possible
Apparantly there's this idea that bitter=authentic? I remember being offered 'Belgian beer' at a party in the US, and when I glanced at the bottle I immediately saw the suspicious phrase 'Belgian style', rather than just Belgium proper. The back of the label said it was brewed in Colorado.. Possibly in the same place as Yuenglening? Can't remember..
>pic related
99% this was it.. Didn't taste very Belgian to me though.
>>52712809
Yuengling is east coast. Blue Moon is Millers/Coors attempt at getting in on the craft market.
And it's crap for girls.
Just got back from a holiday in Germany and Holland. German altbier and weissbier are delicious, Dutch lager is alright too. The only problem is they're all incredibly foamy. If they tried that in the UK I'd ask them to pour it again.
>>52712896
>And it's crap for girls.
I believe it was a girl that offered it.. But I can't be certain. When they say 'Belgian White ale' btw, do they mean 'witbier'? Like Hoegaarden?
>>52712969
>If they tried that in the UK I'd ask them to pour it again
Just a culture thing, really.. Here it's the opposite. I would not accept a glass of beer if it didn't have '2 fingers' of foam.

You guys are literally born and bred to deliver goods to your colonial masters here in the isles. There's no cucking going on here, only the sweet spoils of empire.
>>52713009
REALLY
>>52713128
>foster's
>the sweet spoils of the empire
now I've seen it all
>>52713230
You don't know how normies work do you.
Normies like sophisiticated foreign sounding things like Fosters, Stella Artois, shit like that.
All our mass produced lager shite is pseudo-foreign but brewed in the UK.
Anyone that actually knows anything about beer gets a cask ale from one of the pumps.
$12.99 for a 12 pack, you literally can't go wrong

>>52718559
Yeah, there's one in Tampa
Yuengling is in every grocery store, gas station, bar, and is served on tap in most restaraunts, it's pretty based.
>>52713009
cheers, dutchbro
In Boston. What breweries should I check out besides Samuel Adams and Harpoon? Brewpubs also acceptable.

Does mämmi beer sound good? I'm thinking of making a black rye beer with orange peel and molasses.
>>52708829
Curious to try this one 2bh familia.
>>52723024
Not that I'm complaining, but what is it with metal bands commissioning beers now?
>>52723077
Check'ed
Dunno.
Maybe breweries have only recently started offering the service?
>>52723336
I work at a brewery and almost half of the employees, including one of the owners, listens to metal. Maybe we should find a band to brew for.
