It's awesome. All of the cognates make it pretty easy to remember most verbs and nouns. Easy grammar. The problem is that most of the phrases they use don't translate easily to english so there's a lot you just have to know you can't just translate and figure it out. Basically all of the slang and idioms fall into this category. That's probably the same with most languages though.
