My life is pretty much laid out for me. I didn't believe the "white privilege" meme for the longest time until I realized I'm on a conveyor belt to a solid job with a STEM degree because of my parents and all the pressure is solely on me not to fuck it all up. Living in a first world country is like this. You basically at everything at yor disposal, its up to you to not fuck up your life.

For educations after secondary school we loan money and the government pays a part of the study as long as you stay within the time limit.
Before that it is free and some of the books you need to pay for.

I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it isn't really free. This country is quite expensive to live in make no mistake as a working man you need to work a good amount of hours with a low wage job to have a good life and support a family.
NEETs for some reason have it easier but then again they are likely fucked for life due ot their social isolation and lack of skills so they're not winning in the end.

it's fair to consider the argument retarded because it is used against universal free education
instead your universities act as private companies trying to make a profit, and instilling affirmative action for publicity stunts, as well as nigger scholarships

>it's fair to consider the argument retarded because it is used against universal free education
So because you don't agree with the conclusion someone may draw from a line of reasoning you reject the factual statement that things cost money? Again, who is supposed to be the retard here?

>instead your universities act as private companies trying to make a profit
Public universities in the US are non-profits, any money they make beyond their expenses are reinvested in the University's endowment. There are private schools too, of course, and they can do whatever they wish with their money.

>instilling affirmative action for publicity stunts
Affirmative Action was started by the federal government in the 1960s and since then has been struck down in part by various state courts.

>as well as nigger scholarships
These are given by private individuals and organizations, who may do as they wish with their money.

Basically, I don't get what your point is. You are complaining about what the federal government or private people have done and then try to claim that means schooling is "free."

Like I said: retarded.
>>
>>52693254
do you fucking autism? its just easier to say free then explain a tax plan every time.
>>
>>52693777
>[D]o you [have] fucking autism? [I]ts [sic] just easier to say free [rather] then [sic] explain a tax plan every time.
Calling a government funded program "free" leads to poor decision making on the part of the public, who fail to properly internalize the cost of public goods. Just look at our Moldovan friend ITT to see what I mean.

Well... never had any issue with it. Don't even know how it goes for foreigners though.
>>
literally nothing happens

people get angry about the dumbest fucking shit. like people get angry if a public park doesn't get mowed properly.

people go fucking bezerk over the smallest things. if some kid gets injured during a school ski trip literally all you hear is "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" for days

it's a fucking nannnystate full of idiots consumed by ennui who do nothing but spend their money on shit they don't need

>>
>>52699000
You don't need to check out though if you don't leave the station if you're going by train. It reads where you're from when you're done with traveling the cost is calculated.
With trams you can check in into every tram.
>>
>>52699000
It's well known NS are jews.

Literally only beneficial thing about the OV kaart is the fact that it's free for students and thus I can fucking bum around anywhere when I don't have any classes.

Also to conclude my rant, different classes on national trains are absolute bullshit.

Soviet education was great. Current Russian education is nowhere as good.
