I am convinced that ther first muslim generations of Bosnia were secretly practicing bogomil beliefs, but over the centuries they forgot the relevance because of there economical prospering under Turkish rule. Still you can find a lot still preseved as folklore.
Even in the 19th century, I read about a Bosnian nobleman talking to a Croat historian that they were aware of their past and that they had certain documents kept hidden which were still passed on from father to son "until the time is right".
