My grandma is from there. Her family was ethnic russian and she had 3 sisters. Their mother died soon afte last sister was born and father left them, so they were left alone when elder sister was only 14 and they wete lucky their neighbous were kind people and they all together basically raised them. So back in Svloviet times it was a nice country with cheap fruits, kind people and stuff. After the fall everything turned to shit so 2 years ago last of 4 sisters moved to Russia. I was lucky my grandpa was serving in military (he was from Ukraine) and he met grandma while he was in Turkmenistan during his training before he eas sent to Vietnam so they merried and soon after that grandpa was ordered to come to Moscow oblast where our family lives now.
