First of all, social cohesion is something that can't exactly be controlled only influenced and predicted. One culture and one ethnic group can still equate to chaos. What the future brings is uncertain but a better economy is better for cohesion I hope you'd agree. Second, who says we have to forego those things because of multiculturalism? Immigrants can and do assimilate. And lastly, Canada is 77% white Euro and I doubt they'll ever go "extinct" any time soon.
