I wish my school had uniforms (back when i was still in school). I like the idea of (if i ever have a wife) asking her to wear her old HS uniform for me. It would be a great way to tell her "lose some weight" without actually telling her that she has gotten very fat since HS.
I was pretty lucky though, since it seems that short-shorts were very trendy when I was in school. Before HS, girls would wear short-shorts every day. If it was cold outside, they'd wear short-shorts with a large sweater and ugg-boots. The sweater would drape over the short-shorts, giving the illusion that they were naked under the sweater.
Short-shorts persisted into HS, but were gradually replaced by ripped-up jeans. The store-bought ones were a major disappointment. Sometimes, girls would buy regular jeans and rip them up themselves. They ripped big holes, that would gradually grow larger as the jeans were worn. Sometimes the holes would grow so much, the jeans violated the schools dress code.
I think the current generation of students has it best. I can't imagine going to school with most of the girls wearing yoga pants, or even fucking tights (without a dress over them), instead of actual clothing. What a time to be alive.
