This is what NASA gets for sourcing all the instruments on that probe to foreign countries.
I think it may be the first NASA probe that does not include any American made scientific instruments.
They were warned that this could happen long before this shitfest. And the program manager will probably never get to manage another project like this ever again. He has run out of excuses on his decisions that led up to this to be honest.
It was such a stupid fucking decision that Congress has passed a law that prevents any NASA probe from exclusively using foreign instruments.
