To be quite honest, láds, I don't even care about banter at this point. This fucking shit right here has been triggering me since I have conscience. Not only Chileans cúcked us out of the Pacific, but in such a fashion that we have an awful straight-line-border (the only one in the whole territory) just in the middle of this shitty island.
I mean, what for? Why did Chileans need the other half of this island anyway? They already have plenty of coastline, was it so hard to just give it to us?
Not to mention the Beagle conflict... we almost go to fucking war over a couple of tiny frozen irrelevant islands. After the Peace Treaty, the islands were handed over to Chile, just a show of our evident inability to keep islands whatsoever.
YES I AM MAD. To be honest I'd rather give the whole fucking island to Chile... and a piece of the Northern Provinces to Paraguay and Bolivia, why not, huh? Oh, and Uruguay, just serve yourself a fucking piece of Buenos Aires, go ahead FUCK YOU
desu i don't even get why chile and argentina are different separate countries. people talk about an iberian union, as in, union between spain and portugal. but we speak different languages and have been split for almost a thousand years. and you all speak the same language and have basically the same culture (albeit the indigenous might be a little different here and there). what's with being apart? why not just make one giant spanish speaking country and rule the world?
>>52535773
>why not just make one giant spanish speaking country and rule the world?
>Spicland would rule the world
>>52535808
both chile and argentina are pretty high on the hdi rankings right now. what's keeping you from getting even bigger?
>>52535688
I got the same feeling but from the other point of view. That island should be completly chilean so we can have an atlantic coast.
>To be honest I'd rather give the whole fucking island to Chile.
Oh if only ;_;
>>52535829
Chile and Argentina had a really bumpy history in the 20th Century. Unification is impossible.
>>52535952
that's a shame. i wouldn't mind living in that dream union tbqh
>>52535773
Blame the USA keeping Hispanic America segregated during and before the cold war

Argentinian-Chilean-Uruguayan Commonwealth would be awesome.

You held it only 7 years, its capital Montevideo was founded by Spaniards. It was part of the Viceroyalty of the Rio de La Plata and subsequently the United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata for almost 40 years. How come it is BR clay? A criollo gave it its independence, also.

Shit I thought there was some tourism to do, or nature to see. Am I wrong?
>>52537062
>some tourism to do, or nature to see.
Yes, but not our most beautiful province, not even close. I find it very boring 2bh. I don't know what you like but I think Córdoba and Buenos Aires are the most fun provinces, Santa Cruz and Salta the prettiest.

kill yourself pathetic nignog

>>52537144
I've been in those places already, except Salta. And Santa Cruz province is part of the trip. What do you recommend there?
>>52537047
Is that how we are going to refer to the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo
>>52537262
>Santa Cruz
The glaciars in El Calafate mainly, the rest is gelid desert but there are a lot of cool lakes, towns and villages if you're into that kind of stuff.
In fact Argentina has a lot to offer depending on what you're looking for. It caters to a wide range of tourists.
If you're a fan of nature I'd REALLY recommend Salta, it's even named "Salta La Linda", because really, it's beautiful man.
If you like to travel (f.i. you're a motorbiker), Argentina is home of what I think it's the longest route in the world (Ruta Nacional 40 extends over 5000 kilometers, pic related)
>>52537592
It's gonna be a 20 day roadrip with friends, we're gonna be around 7 days in Buenos Aires and the rest we intend on going all the way to ushuaia, stoping in cool places around.
thanks for the El Calafate tip.
Maybe the next trip we'll go to Salta.
>>52535829
their cultures have nothing to do with eachother, its like uniting spain and portugal
>>52537062
You can ride in a shitty train through the island and is not even winter so..
>>52535688
I want to move there and live on the edge of the world, but I'd rather die than be an Argie. Your ancestors foresaw this and fixed it so I could do one without the other.
>>52538061
>I'd rather die than be an Argie
