It's just a big statue. Not even big enough to be impressive, like Liberty. It's just kind of big. Although I'd be interested to know how they constructed it in situ. Seems too precarious for cranes up there.

I've been there. The statue is not even that great, there are many others like the Motherland Calls in Russia there are much better looking and bigger. The thing is the location where the statue is at, viewing at the top of the entire city, it's what make the place really beautiful.
