Yes. People like to shit on us when we try to defend our language, like we think it's so superior to anglo culture that we ban everything english. This is so untrue, France is overrun by american culture just like any other western country. Amongst teenager and young adults they only talk about the next US artist or US series. The difference is that the government tries to preserve french culture by subsidizing it heavily.
