Don't know about Indians. Wealthy (or upper middle class) Chinese men don't have too much of a problem. They need to exhibit signs of wealth though. It's common for them to avoid commission based jobs, and seek jobs with a high salary instead (because Chinese women prefer that for some reason). It is also common for parents to help their son buy a house at a young age, and not do similar things for their daughter (she doesn't need it to get married). I've even heard of single-child daughters getting pissed off because their parents help out their male cousins so much, that they won't have much of an inheritance.
For poor or lower class Chinese, things are different. They will import women from Vietnam or other SE Asian countries that are poorer than China. It is also becoming increasingly common for Chinese men at every economic level to avoid marriage, and even dating. These men tend to see prostitutes very frequently (there are relatively affordable options for men of every socioeconomic class).
