In Islam there's 3 acceptable forms of straight out lying
>To reconcile people
>For personal relationships (Husband and Wife)
>For personal gain

However, for Islam there's something called Al-Ma'aridh which basically means you can use double entendre to avoid telling the truth. For instance if you're asked do you have any spare change, you can say no and secretly intend to mean "I have no spare change to give" rather than what the meaning of the question was. In the Qu'ran, Mohammed's follower Ali was able to use this trick to behead a man whom had insulted Mohammed.

At least they killed nonbelievers. Whenever the Pharisees would ask Jesus for proof he was the messiah, he'd storm off to the countryside in tears, whining about being unfairly tested and mumbling to his followers about that town deserving the fate of Sodom and Gemorah.

Why should I believe in a God that isn't merciful? That isn't a saviour? In the Bible God is the ultimate source of truth, it is the Devil that is the ultimate source of falsehood, and so too is that the God of Islam's domain.
>>
>>52480328
Jesus wasn't so much merciful, as he was impotent. A deeply violent human being unable to carry out his kingdom, not even over the minds of Israel. A man who sends one to eternal fire for even contemplating an immoral act is a new level of evil. Somewhere along the way the image of him bringing about his desired world through fire and sword was replaced by a "meek and mild" version who has no convictions or anger.
>>
>>52480977
No, Jesus was merciful. In his time throughout his life he held great influence amongst the people of Nazareth and Bethlehem, and that is self-evident by all the people asking him for council. Instances like resurrecting Lazarus, allowing the adulterous woman to repent et al. he proved his mercy and compassion in times where he held the final and ultimate decision over someone's life.
>A man who sends one to eternal fire for even contemplating an immoral act is a new level of evil.
Yeah you have no idea what you're talking about. The Bible recognises humans as inherently sinful beings and ones that are imperfect. Through faith through God and repentance one can achieve ascendance to heaven.

Its STUPID. Anyone can lie. Atheist can lie, Christian can lie, etc but all of a sudden, Muslims can lie and its "OH NO DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY, MUSLIMS CAN LIE!!"

Humans can lie and in fact most people lie all the time. The fact is that 99% of Muslims are not terrorists.

>The fact is that 99% of Muslims are not terrorists
nevermind that, it's a fact that western terrorism is far more prevalent and deeply entrenched than anything the middle east has ever had to offer.

>"God knows it did not cross our minds to attack the Towers, but after the situation became unbearable—and we witnessed the injustice and tyranny of the American-Israeli alliance against our people in Palestine and Lebanon—I thought about it. And the events that affected me directly were that of 1982 and the events that followed—when America allowed the Israelis to invade Lebanon, helped by the U.S. Sixth Fleet. As I watched the destroyed towers in Lebanon, it occurred to me punish the unjust the same way: to destroy towers in America so it could taste some of what we are tasting and to stop killing our children and women."

>The earliest manuscripts of the Gospel of Mark (the oldest of the canonical gospels, composed c. 70 CE) break off abruptly at 16:8, when the men at the empty tomb announce Jesus' resurrection, lacking post-resurrection appearances of Jesus. 16:9–20 does not appear in the earliest manuscripts.[9] Many modern translations of Mark end at 16:8 with for they were afraid, sometimes adding 16:8–20 in italics, or in a footnote. For example, the New Revised Standard Version gives both the "long ending," i.e., 16:8–20, and another variant "short ending" after Mark 16:8. Scholars disagree about whether the original work ended at 16:8, or whether the last part, perhaps the last page, is missing.[5] John Fenton writes that if the author of Mark intended to end at 16:8, this does not mean that he "did not believe that Christ was risen," as he refers to the resurrection directly and indirectly on numerous occasions throughout the work.[10] Reginald Fuller believes that the "writer seemed to know such appearances, apparently to Peter and the others in Galilee."[11] Members of the Jesus Seminar believe that Mary Magdalene, Paul, and probably Peter had genuine visionary experiences of the risen Jesus.[12][13]

>muh trinity nonsense
just fuck off already christianity has been plagued with so much crazy shit since the 300's. There's even something called a pope that pretends to be holy lmao.
>>
>>52481654

Uh your own link kind of disproves your point? The earliest books of the NT mention the risen Christ. Early version of Mark ends at an empty tomb but still contains many many references to the risen Christ.
>>
>>52481805
read better you baboon
>>
>>52481654
Hahahah, you are a moron indeed.
If you're referring to earlier drafts you must mean early manuscripts of the Gospel of Mark where it breaks off at 16:8
All scholars accept that either the next pages are missing or that Mark actually did mean that Jesus had resurrected and is actually referred to many times throughout Mark's Gospel

Try again
>>
FUCK EVERY ARAB, FUCK ISLAM, YOU FILTHY PIGS SHOULD DIE
>>
>>52481793

Mark is not the Bible. Mark is a single Gospel within the Bible, and it isn't the earliest NT work.

> the men at the empty tomb announce Jesus' resurrection
> he refers to the resurrection directly and indirectly on numerous occasions throughout the work.
>writer seemed to know such appearances, apparently to Peter and the others in Galilee

So early drafts Mark does include the Resurrection, it just doesn't include the witnesses of those who saw Christ post-Resurrection, just alluding to them. Earlier books of the Bible, like the Pauline epistles as well as other Gospels and later drafts of Mark, directly reference the visions.

Wow.

The Bible isn't an edited collection of the Gospels though? The Bible contains many works, only some of which are Gospels? You are trolling.

And the resurrection, an extremely significant event is omitted in the earliest writings.

>>52482264
What a poor strawman. There is evidence within the Qu'ran and the Hadiths as lying being acceptable. Furthermore, various Islamic scholars have done seminars explaining how lying is allowed.
Whereas in Christianity you will find several verses strictly forbidding lying.
