i usually just hear the local ezan
>>

You either wake up in the dark or go home in the dark. Usually not both, unless it's very near winter solstice.
>>
>>52457067
At the moment? The sun starts going down at around 7pm and is dark by about 8pm, and I don't have daylight savings.

Sun starts rising at about 4am

I think the Iraqi asylum seekers can't deal with the polar night season. More and more keep going back to Iraq because they get so depressed.

Well, it doesn't make me depressed. I will long for this good sleep I have in july.

The temperature here is like 36 degrees in July, but it goes to 40 from time to time. That means 27 celsius in my room, and I'm not able to sleep well. I go to bed at 22:30 in July, fall asleep in an hour, then wake up at 4:30 and see a gleam of a sun beam and I'm not able to fall asleep anymore with light and extreme heat.
And I can neither sleep with my window open because I would hear my roosters at 3 am.

Finland is nice because winters are dark, and, in opposition with Norway, it doesn't rain and be 10 degrees, I hope I'll visit Rovaniemi or Savonlinna once.
I've also been in Tromso once, and I found it hard to go to bed, but the temperatures were so nice for summer.

The hilarious thing about it is that all of that was 100% unintentional because our government is not nearly so competent as to pull off that scheming intentionally. One random contractor and military private managed to leak hundreds of thousands of top secret documents, there is no way our government is skilled enough to pull off Illuminati-tier conspiracies.

That's a good thing you can be gloomy, feeling blue, depressed etc. and blame it on lack if sunlight.
I like dark, feels nice to live in constant night. Now if there just was colder maybe more of those sandpeople would go back.
