Despite being ethnicaly diverse for centuries Russia is still kinda like Japan when it comes to immigrants. In the best case they are seen as exotic weirdos. And if we talk about quality of life, well, Russia is as contrast as big. I guess Moscow or Petersburg will be definitely better than anything in Algeria.

Russia can be a good place for living but not for everyone. It is a hell for NEET's or different hipsters but it is paradise for natural tourists for example.
