Germany didn't allow gays to marrie. They will never allow gay marriage to happen before Germany falls first.
And Germany took the machiavellian approach on the issue.
The Duke removed all leadership figures from the gay-marriage movement, while also giving in a little bit, so that most of them went home as they had accomplished somthing.
We made a civil-partnership accessible for everyone.
Also gay marriage isn't a big thing. A long term partnership is something that only happens 1 one in a million times in the gay community. The whole conflict is about an idea not the reality of gay people.
