IS just blew up a plane in Egypt, I'd say its still worth taking seriously. The reason that doesn't happen in other countries is because of over the top security. But this is about DHS agents scanning the passports of people travelling here, not preventing another 9/11. They won't be patrolling your airports, they'd be in the secure area for flights to the US (there are already seperate screeners for those flights but they aren't american so I think thats what they want to change). The dailymail exaggerated it and added the machine gun shit, but theres no chance of that.
