Hey guys, i am writing a story about what would happen if the UK became a dictatoral police country, i am just gonna tell you a short version of the story

Anyways, tell me what you think of the story, especially britanons and what i should change in the story

It looks like an interesting story, the "it's similar to what's happening in real life" factor helps in the story's immersion. Just try to work more on the political expplanation to the events so it doesn't look like made up bullshit.
Take a look at this game, despite North Korea looking like a small threat now, they give a nice explanation on how it managed to build up military power and invade america, without making it look like made up stuff.

what no one here realises is that these 1984-esque posters and what-have-you hide a gradual decrease in the ability of the police to enforce laws due to decreasing manpower etc.
if it was evident that there were plenty of police to watch you, why would they need to tell you that they are? why spend the money putting up posters when the site oif a nearby police officer or piece of police infrastructure will tell you the same thing.
in reality, you're much more likely to get away with minor shit, and even some serious shit, because the ever dwindling police resources are limited and allocated to whatever flavour-of-the-month priority the (frequently elected) police commissioner or chief constable says.
town CBD's are heavily policed, as are tourist areas, but good luck getting a cop in under an hour if you live in a shitty council estate. that's why people there resort to mob violence or having a local gangster get his toughs to visit the offending party.
