In Finland most stores on sundays are open from 12pm-6pm and if the store is small enough it can be open from 10am to 10pm on sundays.

We have en exception where really small grocery shops can be open on Sunday, so there is often one or two near you that is open on Sunday. I could walk to a grocery store right now and buy stuff even though the rest is closed. It's just a small one with a limited selection of goods, but it will do if you are out of food on a Sunday.
