The more reason to learn it.
French is a dying language. While it's like 10th most spoken language worlwide, less and less people speak it every day. It doesn't help that Arabic speakers are growing in number in France itself.
French is one of the most beautiful languages in the world and learning it and teaching it to your children is a way to preserve it for generations to come.
And who knows? Maybe a lethal virus that only affects Muslims becomes pandemic in Europe and voilà suddenly France is white again and safe to visit.
So I recommend you to learn it.
Bonne chance l'ami! Tu peux réussir!
