Because India is the direct neighbor.
For tourists, the access is very hard and you need to pay 200$/day to the governement. Also there is no big hotels and technologies stuff like smartphone, camera, computer aren't really tolerated.
But it still an amazing country out of the time with gorgeous landscape and perennial tradition.
