I used to love the weather and the smell especially when I was young. I even loved to walk in rain without using umbrella and get soaked with it. But now rain is radioactive here. So I fear and avoid getting soaked with it.

Well I live in south Texas, and during the summers (where it is often over 104) there is nothing like that cold breeze that blows in just a few moments before a storm.
Nothing is like that moment when you are out in the fields, dripping with sweat, (The kind that can only come from working out side in 100 degree heat with 100% humidity.) When the first gentle gust of ice cold air washes over you, heavy with the smell of rain.
