All Germans know how to do is obey, they don't have thoughts of feelings of their own. They marched into Russia because those were the rules then and they welcome refugees because those are the rules now. It doesn't matter if both things will obviously end in disaster for Germany because their culture doesn't care about what the rules or what their intention is, only that everybody follow them.
