bump for discussion of important international events

you don't think there is some truth to it?
France still is one of the most efficient countries in the world when it comes to GDP/Hour workerd
The number of hours you work does not dictate the productivity/efficiency of your economy. French people may not work much, but when they do they work well. Here in Japan people work many hours and overtime, but most of the time is spent on needless tasks or people work slowly since they know they have to work for X hours.

Well there's some truth in it, but it concerns mostly state employees (ie: postal services) and under qualified people.
If you look at how much liberal professions or employees with high responsibilities work, you'll see that they have nothing to be ashamed in comparison to the US of A or other 1st world country

I love work. I could watch it all day.
I dunno why Americans love working so much. 40 hours is enough as long as you're productive. Stop being so proud of working 50, 60, 70, 80 hours. It's not a good thing. It's like being proud of having to take more breaths per minutes just to remain alive.

Work to live, don't live to work.

Is having to breathe and eat also oppressive?
>>52321483
Yes, actually. Entropy is the ultimate oppression.
