I don't actually know about the second one, I would guess they have some influences from Irish folk. It is a song about how the people in the north of sweden (less populous) has been mistreated by the people of the south because its considered to be wilderness up here.
It is kind of funny because the third song is way more mainstream than the first (well kind of atleast).
