You can try to look for an Eikaiwa job in a bigger cities like Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo.
After you get used to the place, and save some money, you can look for something else to step up.

Basically everywhere in Japan besides Osaka, Tokyo and maybe Sapporo/Fukuoka are gonna be fucked in 50 years. All the young people migrate to the big cities. There's no real future outside of the major metropolitan areas.
My personal prediction: Some liberal party gets elected eventually, allows east asian immigration, all the immigrants move to the big cities, and the birth rate returns back to a sustainable level. In 2100 I predict the Japanese population to be 100m-150m.

Even if you don't have a credit card, there are many online shops like Rakuten with the option Daibiki= 代引き(you pay money to the deliverer).
They usually charge you for this option, but the cost is around 500yen.

Join an expats group. Lean toward one with Brits, Australians because they don't have as many anime losers as USA and try to find one for people a bit older than you. Get to know them, ask them about where they work and so on. Join a sports club.
Oh and budget well. Shop once a week for food. Go cheap on everything other than meat. It's not hard is it.
