I read somewhere that most women, especially from northern parts on Japan, pronounce the u.
Sometimes it's pronounced das-s
the s is pause-extended so it makes it like there is an end vowel

Some languages have 2 letters for the silent /th/ and the vocalized /th/. We have fuck all and just pronounce /th/ however our regional accent does it.
