Are you supposed to tip your janitor in the US?
can someone explain why this image is associated with Janny?

because he was a janitor in Arthur?

t. Alberto Barbosa
Yes but only in monopoly money
>>52281258
its the janny you mong
>>52281235
Nope, usually you only tip people who serve you personally. You might tip a maid or something, but not a janitor.
Here's a handy adviser for socially acceptable tipping in the states.

How much should I tip the officer for shooting me?
>>52282364
You don't tip the police, their salary comes from your taxes.
>>52282364
Police in my country don't expect a tip for shooting you, anon. They do their jobs because they love it.

You forgot adding an extra 5% per person if you ordered more than 2 different things. Memory isn't free

What about waiters? They get a regular salary but they demand tips.
>>52282549
Waiters and waitresses are usually paid quite poorly, actually. Much of their earnings comes from tips. Without tips, they'd make much less.
>>52282596
But how did it become the customer's responsibility to literally pay their salary?
>>52282699
If Americans had balls to pay servers what they actually thought they earned, the system would work quite well.

>Waiters and waitresses are usually paid quite poorly, actually. Much of their earnings comes from tips

I wonder who is behind that post.
At an event yesterday I saw someone tip the janitor $3. Wish I was joking.
I live in Vegas though. I work an office job and I get tips from co-workers, who in turn are tipped by customers.
