So cunts how is Summer/winter treating you all? You all prepared and enjoying yourselves? I sure am enjoying the heat basting me. Surprised the bush-fires haven't kick started in full force yet here.

WAKE ME UP
In Texas, I understand above 40℃, I feel y'all.
But 50℃ is simply unsuitable for human habitation at all.
>>52267897
WA in general is unsuitable for human habitation.
>>52267588
50 degrees isnt even that hot what the fuck is wrong with you root toot kangaroots?
>>52267968
Shame all the resources are there generally.
>>52267588

Pretty hot, damn
>50°
WAKE ME UP
>>52267588
Brazil is even more hot!
I think Australian 50°C aren't as disgusting as 40°C in Germany, because your country is very dry. There was a day in this summer where I wanted to be dead.
What really make the summer here intolerable is the humidity
>>52267978
STOP
>>52268138
Depends where you are. Queensland and the Northern Territory are ridiculously humid as well as hot.
Far more humid than anywhere in Germany will ever get
>>52268138
QLD is pretty much above 50% humidity all year round and hits 100% when it rains.
I know humidity my friend.
>>52268223
There's jungle up north, near New Guinea?
>>52268255
I'm not sure about the difference but there's plenty of rainforest.
>>52268334
Fun fact: a small part of east Texas, where it's wetlands, actually qualifies as a rainforest.
>>52268382
Neat, I was doing roadworks in a rainforrest at one stage it's really great.
>>52268382
>tfw learnt something today
Sweet.
>tfw it's 40 degrees or more for multiple days in a row and the power goes out for multiple nights in a row
that's the fun in Australia
I hate the fucking summer, i want it to rain till the end of the year.
>Mid Winter

>>52268619
I am gonna die and I can't help to laugh.
>>52268255
Sort of, there's a few actual rainforests in the north of Queensland. The top of the Northern Territory is monsoonal forest/rainforest for about 4-5 months in the year too.
Pic related is my yard around that time, give you an idea of the kind of 'jungle' that grows in the Northern Territory. That was last year though, which was fairly dry (only 1300mm (51 inches)) of rain in the weeks before. This year should be much better as there will hopefully be more rain.
>>52268255
Even around South East Queensland/North East NSW you get small patches of rainforest scattered around.
Queensland actually has the 4th largest rainforest in the world. The Daintree
>literally talking about the weather
>>52268894
Yeah it is fun. Join in.
>>52267588
It's 8°C now. Perfect for having a chocolate abuelita with cookies right now.
Also, it must feel weird to celebrate christmas in the summer while growing up with all the america media showing winter as something christmas-related.
>>52268894
>not talking about the weather
what are you some kind of antisocial degenerate?
>>52268894
very british
>>52268920
Nah it's great. Christmas means a big lunch, cold beers and swimming if you've got a pool
warmest (mainland)european country coming through. records for the district capitals
Been a super mild winter. Usually the grass is frosty and you need to de-ice the windscreen, but there has only been one day like that so far.
>>52267588
How humid is it in Australia? It's always at least like 80% for most of the year in the UK. Also, practically no houses have air-conditioning which makes a huge difference
>>52269007
My room at my parents house used to get to almost 30c in the hottest days of summer with my PC heating it up.
I literally couldn't do anything in there, how can people even live in Australia?
>>52269081
depends where you are, up north queensland it can get very humid as other anons have said, but here in victoria it's usually very dry heat
>>52269120
>how can people even live in Australia?
air conditioning or death anon
seriously though it can be pretty shit in summer, get's to the point where I can't use my computer for any gaming on a really hot day and sometimes the power goes out from everyone blasting their air cons etc.
>>52269120
Air conditioning
wew
>>52267588
It never gets to 50. 40 max in the habitable areas
>>52269081
It's 94% humidity here right now
>>52269381
Melbourne's hottest day on record on 7 February 2009, when the temperature reaches 46.4 °C (115.5 °F) in the CBD.
It definitely gets well over 40 in habitable areas, but not usually much over 40. and there are plenty of places around that get over 50 in the outback but I guess you wouldn't really call them habitable lol
In Ottawa and still no snow yet
Rude
>>52269469
just looking up some temperature records now and that was a bit of an exaggeration on my part, hardly anywhere gets over 50, lots of places high 40's though in summer
>>52269578
Fuck, it's 2AM and I'm talking about the weather with someone from the same country.

>bush-fires
man, being a firefighter in the australian wilderness must be hell, I can't imagine having to work outdoors when it's literally 50°C AND you have to literally put out bush fires.
8°C here, low of 1°.
It's not normal weather for winter, but it's not remarkably hot. All you can do is sigh. It's like being in purgatory.
From about 14-16 Celsius this weekend.
Rain and mild weather with higher than average temps for next week.
I'm in love with a weathergirl on the tv lads.
