Wow, do you people still burn scientists and redheaded women?
Everyone I know are either atheists or "christians" that don't follow any christian values, don't go to church, have never read the bible, and do not believe any of the bible stories they've heard except for the ones with jesus in them.

most people are atheist here.
only broken and weak personalities end up in churches and cults.

You'd get more answers if you asked how open people are about religion here

>only broken and weak personalities end up in churches and cults.
This applies only for you Germans.
I live in California and have rarely been around anyone who gave a shit. Right now I live in an uneducated, lower class part of California and alot of people here are Christian. I have mentioned I am not religious to a couple of people and they mostly don't care or just keep their opinion about it to themself
Old people think atheists are stupid but aren't outright hostile
Young people seem to either be extreme evangelical christians, lapsed catholics, cultural christians or hardcore fedora tippers.
I've honestly never met an atheist in real life who wasn't an obnoxious asshole about it.
If I meet someone new under 40 I automatically assume they are an atheist.
Unless they are a sandnigger. Then I assume they believe in Islam.
Works pretty well as a rule of thumb.
>daddy, why does our new mommy already have her own kids?

Even the communists were religious, so not so much
I'm not an atheist, just don't care if exist a god and every time I say this in public a lot of people complains about.
For whole my life I've known, I guess, about 5 persons who attend masses every week. Other are 50/50 totally atheist or visit church on major holidays like easter and christmas or to cross (or crucify i don't know exact translation) newborn children.

I'm not an atheist but they would probably look weird at you and then try to convince you about how important is to believe in God and else.
>no baptized
>no first communion
>tfw they give me this look everytime
I think about 50% are Christian, but outside of Northern Ireland I don't know how Christian they are.
Usually the older people are the more religious they are, but that isn't always true.
Religion is a bit of a taboo subject and people don't talk about how they are or aren't religious, but most people understand we live in a Christian nation
