No not really. Our air force and navy can handle themselves if we find ourselves at war with Russia.
If such a thing happened we would,
1) Engage the Russian Northern Fleet in the North Sea and close the GIUK Gap. It's most important that we win here
2) Send air power (Typhoons) to help on the continent if they request it
3) Prepare an expeditionary force spearheaded by the Army/Royal Marines/Paras to send to the Continent if requested. It's likely we would form up with European allies using something like this
