I need some help with a poem in French written for a French chick. It's shitty, but my French grammar is shittier. My main worry is my use of articles, and I am certain that the Frenchfags will bleed from their eyes reading this:
"Nous mangions la fondue,
Je regardais tes yeux,
Où je deviens perdu.
Je voudrais dire beaucoup choses,
Mais rien sera au niveau de ta beauté,
Quand tu me regardes avec tes merveilleux astres.
Pas d`air pour te dire que t'es adorable,
Sauf sous le couvert d'anonymat,
Mon manque de courage est incroyable."
Any suggestions for improvement? Is this unsalvageable?

This should be way better, don't thank me. Some of these expressions are kinda old-fashioned but you can't do more romantic
