Most beer is £3 - £4.50 depending on where you drink. I don't go to über expensive places. And rent's only £715 actually, although I admit it is fucking extortionate.

Depends on where you go. A pint is 16 oz here which is a goddamn ripoff at around 5$ domestic and $6 for fancy domestic and imports. You can find a pint of shitty domestic like Pabst for $2 but it usually comes in a can and is served during happy hour. Anyway I prefer to pregame before I hit the bars that way I only pay to maintain my buzz.
