With so many spanish speaking countries, that gay-ass Spain flag is the easiest representation.
USA is the largest English speaking nation. It makes sense that we should represent English. Olden times England ""invented"" it, but that has nothing to do with the modern flag of the UK.

It's not like the people who built those pyramids spoke Spanish either. But, they were the ancestors of the contemporary Mexican, since they're mostly half-Spanish, half-Native American. Could you say most Spaniards are half-Spanish, half-Moor? OH WAIT YES YOU CAN
